Cartier Siberians kittens go home at a minimum of twelve weeks of age.
The Cartier Siberians website is updated often, and if we have Siberian kittens available you will find them on the Available Kittens page.
The price of our Siberian kittens is not published on the website. Please read What’s Included with a Cartier Siberian, read the Purchase Process page and take a look at our Siberians, then Contact Us for more information or complete the application to apply for a Cartier Siberian. It’s not just about the price!
Cartier Siberians does not allow visits. The health of our breeding cats and kittens is of utmost importance. There are many communicable diseases that are easily carried in on feet and clothing that we simply do not wish to risk. We welcome you to visit our Facebook page, or my personal Facebook page and personal Instagram, to see how our Siberians live.
Absolutely! The health of our breeding cats and kittens is of utmost importance to us and there are several genetic test available to breeders through UC Davis and Optimal Selection. The genetic issues, like HCM, the Siberian breed is at risk for that do not offer genetic testing may be monitored by screening and knowledge of the lines at risk. Additionally, our veterinarians, Dr. John Lindsay and Dr. Joe Martin, offer assistance with blood test and PCR panels to help ensure every precaution is considered and taken.
No. However, the majority of my clients with allergies to cats have, in fact, found that they are able to live with their Cartier Siberian with little to no reaction. This is due to the fact that the Siberian cat tends to have a lower Fel d1, the protein found in cat saliva that causes the reaction, than other cat breeds. Just in case, we do offer a lifetime return policy.
Absolutely! Socialization is very important and I believe goes hand in hand with the health of a kitten. Our Siberian cats and kittens are not caged and travel often, along with our German Shepherd, with me from our home to our office and pet boutique. By the time kittens go to their new home they are used to people, places, dogs, noises, music and traveling!
We have placed kittens for breeding in five breeding programs; however, only two, AnaBella Siberians and Aubrie Siberians, honored their Agreement in its entirety, so at this time, we do not sell kittens for breeding.
